Lektou is a Macau SAR-based law firm with more than 35 years’ experience of legal prac - tice. Services regularly provided by the firm include advising on Macau law, helping inter - national companies start their businesses in Macau, and assisting in the reorganisation of economic groups with connections to Macau. In 2016, Lektou partnered with Zhong Yin Law Firm (People’s Republic of China) and Fongs (Hong Kong) to open a new office in Hengqin Island, Zhuhai, PRC – ZLF Law Firm. This was

the first law office to unite firms from the two Special Administrative Regions and Mainland China. Since then, it has extended and opened an office in Shenzhen. In 2017, Lektou further extended its operations to Lisbon, Portugal, through a locally based law firm, Rato & Cor - tés, as part of its internationalisation strategy to position itself as a legal player in the platform between the PRC and Portuguese-speaking countries.

Luís Rôlo is currently a trainee lawyer with Lektou, having joined the firm in 2020. He graduated from the University of Macau in 2008 and is registered with the Macau Lawyers

He is a member of the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA), the Hong Kong Institute of Directors (HKIoD), International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL), the International Bar Association (IBA), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators (HKIA). Pedro is a guest lecturer at the Portuguese Catholic University – Lisbon School of Law, and of the Autónoma Academy in Lisbon.

His professional background includes being a senior officer at the Macau Pension Fund (1988–99), a senior officer at the Financial Services Bureau (1999–2010), a jurist at the Cabinet of the Commissioner Against Corruption (2010–14) and a jurist at the Office for Personal Data Protection (2014–18).
