Timo Lehtimäki is a partner and head of the banking and finance practice at Waselius. Timo’s
Niklas Thibblin is the managing partner of Waselius and head of the tax and structuring practice. He has extensive experience in structuring demanding cross- border transactions. He is a
primary focus is on demanding cross-border transactions. His clients include numerous leading international banks, non-bank lenders, private equity houses and corporates, which he advises on their Finland-related matters. Timo’s key areas of expertise include financing transactions, asset-based lending and bond issuances. He joined the firm in 2007 and the partnership in 2013, and is a member of the Finnish Bar Association.

Essi Hietaoja joined Waselius in 2018, after having obtained her LLM from the Law Faculty of the University of Helsinki in the same year. Essi is a member of the Finnish Bar Association and
Oona Honkamaa joined Waselius in 2022, after having obtained her LLM from Lund University in the same year. Oona specialises in banking and finance, and corporate law.
