Additionally, actions have been taken against retail entities for non-compliance with product warranty obligations, telecommunications pro- viders for unsolicited additional services, and energy companies for alleged misleading adver- tising, among others. We are currently assisting with the first steps of climate litigation in Portu- gal, which could set a precedent for future ESG- related claims. Overall, the commercial dispute landscape in Portugal is evolving, focusing on competition, consumer rights and digital commerce.
