The team is com- posed of three partners and 11 non-partners, who defend the interests of the largest French and foreign groups in all sectors of the economy. Combining legal expertise with an understand- ing of key strategic issues, the team advises management and companies in commercial proceedings before both national and interna- tional courts, and before regulatory authorities
(Autorité de la Concurrence – the French com- petition authority). For manager and company clients, the team is particularly active regarding “corporate” disputes: litigation between share- holders (eg, regarding shareholders’ agree- ments or majority/minority shareholder abuses), the liability of corporate officers (managers or directors who have been found guilty of mis- management or in a conflict of interest situation) and post-acquisition litigation (eg, regarding li- ability guarantees or earn-out provisions).

Pierre Linais is a counsel in the litigation, arbitration and mediation department at Jeantet. He specialises in commercial disputes, particularly in the banking,
on a regular basis on commercial litigation, corporate litigation and financing operations, and complex industrial and financial litigation cases. His practice also includes insolvency matters, enforcement procedures and corporate crime. Before joining Jeantet, Xavier was a partner at Ginestié Magellan Paley- Vincent. He holds a French master’s degree in business law and economics from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and also graduated from the INSEAD (Global Executive MBA 2011) and the IAE of Paris (MBA/DESS in Business Management 2001).
