Kosuke Masuda completed his Juris Doctor in 2018 at Kyoto University and is registered to

practise before the Supreme Court of Japan. He has been with SHUSAKU·YAMAMOTO since 2019 and his expertise spans trade mark and intellectual property litigation, unfair competition, corporate governance, and compliance. He is also adept in handling international commercial transactions and litigation, as well as providing comprehensive tax advisory and counselling services. Kosuke has published several articles in leading IP law journals, such as The Journal of E-Commerce, Technology and Communications and European Intellectual Property Review.

joining the firm, she worked as a practising lawyer with expertise in litigation, arbitration and negotiation in Tokyo. She has frequently served as the lead counsel in large-scale lawsuits between multiple parties. Junko has also worked as a researcher at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, engaging in multilateral and bilateral negotiations from 2022 to 2023. She completed her master’s at the University of Pennsylvania School of Law and is admitted to the Bar in the State of New York as well as in Tokyo.
