Hughes and heads the firm’s litigation practice group. He specialises in contentious trust disputes along with private client advisory work. Mr Wilson KC regularly advises many of the larger trust companies in The Bahamas. In addition to his litigation and trust private client work, Mr Wilson KC is one of the leading shipping attorneys in The Bahamas. Mr Wilson KC obtained his LLB with Honours from the University of Buckingham and was called to both the English and Bahamas Bars in 1994
professional training at the Eugene Dupuch Law School, and was called to The Bahamas Bar in 2020. Her first two years at the Bar were spent clerking as Judicial Research Counsel to two Supreme Court judges, conducting research and writing draft judgments and rulings. The role provided a privileged view into the decision-making process of the judiciary and elements of effective advocacy and nurtured her legal research and writing skills. She joined McKinney Bancroft & Hughes in 2023.
