Philippe Nordmann is a partner and co-head of the employment law team at Walder Wyss. He advises companies as well as executive employees on all aspects of employment law (drafting employment contracts and employee regulations, setting up compensation schemes, support concerning dismissals and plant closures, advising companies in negotiations regarding collective bargaining agreements, assignments of employees, staff leasing, work permits, competition clauses, etc) and has substantial experience in litigation. Philippe has been vice-president of the Personnel Appeals Commission of the canton of Basel-Stadt since 2016. His recent publications include the Swiss contribution to the Chambers Employment 2022 Global Practice Guide.
Christian Hagen is a partner in the corporate/M&A team at Walder Wyss. He advises clients on all questions of contract law, commercial and corporate law as well as health and medical law. Christian specialises in
national and international M&A transactions of non-listed companies (private M&A) – including venture capital and private equity transactions, management buyouts (MBO) and financing rounds. His particular focus is on projects in the healthcare and life sciences. In addition, he advises corporate clients on legal matters related to their daily business, corporate law (foundation, capital increase and change as well as liquidation of all kinds of companies) and on questions of group structuring and financing.
Samuel Lieberherr is a counsel in the corporate/M&A team at Walder Wyss. He is a specialist in domestic and international M&A transactions and advises investors on acquisitions, private equity and venture capital
Marion Bähler is a partner in Walder Wyss’s corporate/M&A team. She is a specialist in cross-border and domestic M&A as well as venture capital transactions, joint ventures, and other complex corporate and
transactions. Other preferred areas of practice include corporate law and reorganisations. Additionally, he advises clients on all matters of business law relating to their daily operations and supports them regarding corporate governance and ESG. Samuel is praised for his pragmatic advice and good understanding of the clients’ businesses. He is fluent in German and English.
