However, the GENIUS Act, Florida’s SB 314 and the Treasury Department’s rulemaking process are all moving fast. Texas cannot afford to rest on its laurels. For a state long at the forefront of energy, finance and innovation, the question was never whether to engage with digital assets – it was how to lead. The answer starts now. Band-aids do not fix bullet holes – and Texas has never been one to settle for half-measures.
