Tomás Almeida Ribeiro is a partner in the corporate M&A and private equity practice at PLMJ. With more than 15 years of experience, he has worked mainly on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, private equity
funds and privatisation transactions, both in Portugal and internationally, with a focus on the markets of Angola, Brazil and Mozambique. In addition to his law degree from Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon, Duarte completed a postgraduate course in banking law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.

Before joining PLMJ, Tomás was a lawyer in the Lisbon office of a leading Iberian law firm. Maria Almeida Pulido is an associate in the corporate M&A and private equity practice at PLMJ and has four years of experience. She has advised and assisted clients in the investment funds sector. Maria graduated from
the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Law and Management at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa
