Önder Erol Ünsal has been working as an IP consultant at Ankara Patent since resigning from government in 2020, having served in different departments of the Turkish
from 2014 to 2021. In recognition of her expertise and contributions, Ekin was promoted to the position of intangible asset management consultant. Presently, she provides comprehensive consultancy services to clients, specialising in the management of their IP. Ekin is currently based in the Netherlands and is highly regarded as a speaker and lecturer, frequently addressing IP issues.

Önder started his career as a trade mark examiner at TÜRKPATENT in 1997 and worked for the World Intellectual Property Organization for a year in 2012. He has participated in the conventions of many national and international organisations, as a speaker or trainer. Önder is the author of numerous articles and two books about IP and is the founder of Türkiye’s most popular IP blog.
